Beach Trip

We had such a good time at the beach! We went to Gulf Shores with The Wesson and Hall Family. It was 3 men, 3 pregnant women, and 4 boys. It was a blast! We relaxed, soaked up the sun, shopped and ate a ton... and the boys went fishing! It was a great trip. We are hoping to make it a yearly thing. Next year, will be crazy with 3 new additions. All these babies are due within weeks of each other. It is so neat to share this experience with such close friends!!

4D Ultrasound of Mari Blake

Today we did the 4D Ultrasound of Mari Blake. She put on a show for us. She was waving her hands and feet and sticking out her tounge. She opened her mouth and eyes. It was so neat to see this precious little miracle. She looks just like her big brother. We couldn't tell if she has hair or not, but with all the bows she already has we are sure hoping for some :) Kanon enjoyed seeing her, too. He kept saying bebe bebe! He is going to be a great big brother!

Kanon's 2nd Birthday

Kanon's 2nd Birthday was a blast! We had an Easter Egg hunt! It was Easter weekend and everybody was in town, so it was a big turnout. Kanon had lots of friends there to help him celebrate! Thanks everybody for coming and making this day so special to my sweet baby boy, Kanon!!

Fun at the Zoo

A big group of moms and kids went to the zoo on Good Friday. The weather was perfect, and we had a great time! Kanon's favorite thing was chasing the peacock.

My Parents 40th Anniversary Party

Happy 40th Anniversary to my wonderful parents! We had them a party at our house, and it was so much fun. The cake was a picture from their wedding day. Everybody said my mom and dad look like me and clay in that picture. My whole immediate family(all 17 and 2 on the way) were there and lots of other family and friends. We had a really great time, and we thoroughly enjoyed celebrating our precious parents. They are the best parents in AMERICA, and they are great role models for us kids/adults now :) Kanon had a blast, too. He put on a show dancing to Apple Bottom Jeans.

I've Been Tagged

Okay... i have been tagged by my sweet friend Danielle. She says I must write 7 things about me that are random or not very well know. Hmmm, this won't be easy!
1. Well, most people know this, but for those that don't, I am a Twin. I have a twin brother who is my best friend in the world. We actually live in the same neighborhood! We are extremely close. We are naming our baby girl after him and my mom. My mom is Marijon & my brother is Kirkland Blake... Mari Blake is going to be her name. There is no turning back now. I took 3 diaper bags to get monogrammed today. Which brings me to number 2.
2. I am a SHOPAHOLIC! I can't help it. I am a bargain shopper. I go crazy shopping for my precious babies! I think I would be a great personal shopper because I have gotten so good at finding the sales.
3. I am addicted to sports. I am like a boy about sports, really! I get this from my Granny. She is a sports fanatic, too. We both love Ole Miss and watch them religiously in any and every sport.
4. I like sports so much that I let Steven talk me into naming Kanon with a K because he says he will throw strikes (which a K stands for in baseball). Crazy I know!!
5. I am crazy/psycho about being on time. I hate to be late, and I married to the latest person on earth. Steven has NO concept of time. Which is a HUGE pep peeve of mine. So i guess we balance each other out because my friends in college made fun of me because I got to class 20 minutes early.
6. I love my family more than anything in this world. We are all so close! My parents 40th anniversary is this weekend, and we are having them a party. We all just love being together!
7. I love blogging and stalking everybody else, but I not great about posting myself. Danielle tagged me weeks ago, so I am so sorry It's taken me this long to do my list. Whew glad it's done!!

It's a GIRL!!

We are so thrilled to announce that we are having a BABY GIRL! We are so blessed. She is perfect in every way. God has been so Good to us! I started crying my eyes out when the sonogram lady typed in a G. She was moving the whole time and even waved to us. I told Steven I can already tell she is going to be a cheerleader :) Now we just need to agree on a name for this precious baby girl!
