My Hotty Toddy Snowman

Today was a CRAZY day. It snowed several inches. Probably snowed more than I have seen in 10 years at least!! Mississippi weather... it was 70 on Tuesday and the high today was 34. It started with ice and then the snow came pouring down. We had so much fun (ok, i had more fun than anyone in my family- kanon was too cold, Steven wouldn't even go outside, and Mari Blake is too little to play in the snow) We played at our house first in our PJs(and coats) and then we went down the street to play with Katie and Luke. It was freezing but fun. Kanon wasn't loving it like me. He liked it at first but then he was ready to go inside and get warm ( i think he gets it from his daddy). We played for awhile and then went inside to warm up. Later on, I saw my neighbor and his wife building a snowman. I SO badly wanted one! I tried to make it bigger but my hands were freezing even with my gloves on. I love the snow, but I am a Mississippi girl. I couldn't take it, so he turned out small but cute!! It was a fun day! I heard on the news that it has snowed 3 times in MS this year... jan, march and now dec... hasn't happened in 45 years.

What a great experience this is every year!!! HAHA!! Steven and I took the kiddos to see Santa Claus today. So far, our experiences haven't been that bad. Kanon could really care less about him in the 2 previous years but not this year. He was so excited the whole way there. He kept saying "we going to see santa". He waved to him the whole time we were in line and said over and over "there he is... there is santa" BUT when it was our turn he wasn't too happy. He cried and kicked (sorry santa he is 2, and we are in the terrible 2's for sure!!!) and wouldn't sit in his lap. Mari Blake was just starring at him like WHAT? She just looked at us and was fine. Her big brother was causing a scene, but he finally sat in the chair beside him. We got this picture. It's pretty bad, but at least they were both looking at the camera. And of course, when we were leaving Kanon looked back and said Bye Santa and was happy as can be.
