Kanon's Gonna be A

BIG BROTHER!! We are very excited! The baby is due July 21, 2008. We got Kanon this shirt to tell Steven's parents that we are expecting. They didn't even realize what it said at first, but once they read it they were very happy! Our family is growing, and we couldn't be happier! Kanon is going to be a great big brother.... they will be 2 years and 4 months apart.

Happy Halloween

What a great Halloween! Kanon dressed up like his favorite character Blue from Blue's Clues. He loved being Blue! We went to Clay & Toni's Halloween party. There were tons of kids, so Kanon was a little overwhelmed. Luckily we got one picture of him looking with some of the other kids.

Are You Ready for some FOOTBALL?

We have been watching alot of football around our house. Although, the Rebels aren't giving us much to cheer about this year! We will still wear our Red and Blue and Yell Hotty Toddy and be huge fans no matter what! At least, Eli is having a good year so far!! GO GIANTS!!

Pumpkin Patch

Kanon's first trip to the Pumpkin Patch was a blast! We went with Mimo and Ryleigh Grace and her class from Pinelake. Kanon loved all the animals and the hay ride, and we picked a pretty pumpkin! Both him and Ryleigh were exhausted and fell asleep on the way home!

Fair Fun

Kanon had a blast at his first visit to the fair! Of course, his favorite was playing the duck game. He just LOVES ducks! Dddduuuuuck was his 3rd word. He won 2 stuffed ducks and a ball. It was very hot, and he tried to get in the pool with the ducks. We rode on several rides, too. I don't think he really cared too much for the rides. He seemed bored. He is like his mama and would rather go faster! The petting zoo was fun, but he refused to give the animals the carrots. So, Pop fed all the animals for him. We had a great time and can't wait for next year. Maybe it will be cooler!!

Bubble Bliss

Kanon is Obsessed with BUBBLES! He Adores them. Of course, Mommy gets tired of always blowing bubbles, so we got him a bubble machine for outside. It works ok, but I just found this new bathtime bubble machine that is the BEST! It blows a ton of bubbles at one time and lasts forever. This kid was so happy. He didn't want to get out of the tub. He never stopped talking and smiling at the bubbles. I don't think we are going to ever have any problems getting him to take a bath. Now if we could just get him to eat and talk... do they make machines for that??

Life's a Beach!!

We just got back from our wonderful vacation to Sandestin, Florida. Kanon Loved the Beach! He wasn't that crazy about the ocean because the waves were pretty rough, but he loved playing in the sand and his absolute favorite was chasing the seagulls. They were so fast, so I couldn't get a picture of him and them together. But, when we were playing at the Destin Commons, He found a huge picture of one and went straight to it and started saying B...., Brr.. Bird is his new word. So PRECIOUS!! It was the perfect time to go. The beach was practically empty. It was so nice and relaxing and great to spend time with my sister and her precious family. Kanon loved getting to play with his cousins Harper and Hannah. We had a great time and can't wait to go back again!

Little Rebels

We went to watch the Ole Miss /Memphis game at our good friends Kelli & Tim Cook. Kanon had a blast with his friends Hayden, Jonathan, and Emma Kate(all future rebels). It was a close game but thankfully we won! Let's hope we have more to cheer about this year! Hotty Toddy! Good luck Rebels!!

Welcome to the Blog World

Well, we are joining the blog world now. Kanon is getting bigger by the day and all over the place. He is my heart and soul. I love being with him. He can barely say a word that I understand, but he never stops talking. He loves getting tickled and chased. He is infatuated with Blues Clues and Elmo, and he will bring me the remote controller if he wants to watch them. We have had a great summer. We did Rapids and the pool quite a bit, and Kanon even took his first swimming lessons. He learned how to go under the water and hold his breath (a little). He did love jumping off the side to me and going under water to find the rings. We will be going to the beach in September... and I can't wait for that. School has started back, and it is definately weird not being there. I thank God everyday for giving me this time with Kanon. I do miss my job, but I would not trade my precious time with him for anything.
