I have been thinking about getting her ears pierced for awhile, and I knew I wanted to do it before she turns 1. My mom and I were out shopping one day while Steven was out of town playing softball. We were right by Claires, and my mom said lets call Steven and see if it's okay. He said i guess, so we did it. She was great...i was nervous and Kanon was crying. He was worried about her. She cried for just a minute, but they put this numbing cream on your ear now so she really didn't feel anything. She was fine 2 minutes later laughing and talking to Kanon. She has been great with them. We got them done on Feb. 7(i just haven't had time to post lately). She lets me clean them, and they don't bother her at all. YAY!!!

A fun day at the zoo with the kids and Steven. NOBODY was there and it was beautiful outside. We had the whole zoo to ourselves. It was nice, and the otters are back. YAY!! We can't wait to go back for the penguin exhibit.

Mari Blake is 6 months old. I can't believe it. Where has the time gone? She is getting so big and beautiful. She started sitting up a few days after Christmas, so we decided it was time for the big girl tub. She LOVES it and so does her big brother! She just laughs and plays and gets so excited to be in the tub with Kanon(she ADORES him). They are so sweet and precious. We are having a blast. She went to see Dr. Denney for her 6 month checkup and 4 shots :(. She is 17 lbs and 12 oz and 26.5 inches long. He said he could tell she was much different than her brother because she is already into everything. A mess!! He said we are going to have our hands full with her in a few months(as if we don't already) . FUN TIMES!!!

Cotton Bowl- Ole Miss vs. Texas Tech

Me & Steven so excited!!!

What a game!!! Ole Miss was not favored to win this one at all, but we pulled out the big win against a number 7 Texas Tech. I am huge die hard fan, so you can imagine how happy I am right now. My sweet husband(which ive converted to hotty toddys but he is a true nebraska fan-yes ole miss is 5-0 in bowl games vs. the Big 12 honey) took me to Dallas to see my rebels play, and it was one of the best trips ever. We had a blast! It was the 73rd Cotton Bowl, the last one to ever be played at that stadium, and the largest crowd ever(88,000 and something), a beautiful day, and a great day to be a rebel. We dominated practically the whole game! Cheers to my boys Jevan Snead, Dexter McCluster, Peria Jerry, Michael Oher, Greg Hardy, Marshay Green, Michael Wallace and of course my number one... HOUSTON NUTT!!! I love these guys! We will miss you seniors! What a season 9-4(and should have been better than that). Can't wait for the Ladies football forum and next season!! HOTTY TODDY!!!!!!
