Mari Blake's 8 week Check Up

Sweet Mari Blake will be 8 weeks old this Friday. She went to see Dr. Denney last Thursday for her first shots (which she absolutely hated) and checkup. Her precious outfit was given to her by my precious friend, Ronnie. We love getting dressed up and getting out of the house, and now we can go more often now that we have had our shots!!! She weighs 10 lb 11 oz and is 22 inches long. She is doing great...starting to sleep more, too. We are pretty well adjusted to being a family of 4 now. Kanon loves her and still calls her wawa bake or baby siser. Life is Crazy but lots of FUN with these two.

Kissing Cousins

Mari Blake and Hogan are 2.5 weeks apart and already the best of friends. We put them in a bouncy seat together, and they didn't mind it at all. Hogan never even woke up. They are going to have fun growing up and bugging Kanon together!

Fun with Portland Cousins

We had a great visit with my sister and her girls Harper and Hannah. They came for a week from Portland, and we shopped and ate alot. We took the kids to the fountain at the Renaissance in Madison, and they loved it. We also went and visited the Dinosaurs at the Science Museum. We had such a fun visit. They live so far away, and we rarely get to see them. We miss them a ton already!

MB's a Bowhead

I had to do it. I said i would never put one of those headband bows on my baby, but i did. She has a million bows, but of course none will stay in her hair. She didn't love it, but at least I got a few cute pictures of her wearing it.

Kanon's First Day of School

We can't believe our precious baby boy is such a BIG boy now. He started preschool at St. Marks today. His teacher is Ms. Audra and he has lots of friends in his class (Emma, Emery, Adam & Luke) and I am sure he will make some new friends, too. He was such a big boy and didn't cry at all. We got a letter home that said he was happy all day and had lots of fun. He even did an art project with his hand prints.

Another Overby Blessing

Hogan Ryan Overby born at 9:27am on July 30 weighed 7lbs 6oz and was 21 inches long. Clay, Toni, Haeden and Ryleigh are all thrilled! Hogan and Mari Blake are 2.5 weeks apart. They will be such good friends. We are all so excited. My immediate family is now at 19. We even get our own room at Cock of the Walk now. What a Joy!!

2 week check up

Mari Blake had her 2 week check up on July 24. She did great! She weighed 7lbs 12oz and was 20.5 inches long. She is already getting big. She is a great baby. She eats and sleeps all the time. We are so BLESSED!!!
